RUNNER-UP - THE GREYFRIERS TROPHY FOR BEST WATERCOLOUR. May contain nuts by John Collins. Daring Arrangement – this squirrel is almost mocking you. Good watercolour use.
WINNER - THE ANN MURRAY TROPHY FOR BEST OIL PAINTING. Early evening, Avon Beach by Barry Caygill. Relaxing landscape, great light on the water.

WINNER - THE JUBILEE TROPHY FOR THE BEST PAINTING IN ANY OTHER MEDIUM. Wild Flowers on a Stone Wall by John Challenor. Wonderful use of the medium, soft colour, great arrangement of elements.

RUNNER-UP - THE DOREEN BAKER TROPHY FOR THE BEST FLORAL PAINTING. Joyful Flowers by Michael Jones. Good arrangement of elements, almost abstracted, making a wonderful painting.
WINNER - THE SAM HOLLAND TROPHY FOR THE MOST IMAGINATIVE PAINTING. Moonlight in the woods by Teresa Rogers. Mixed media elements work wonderfully well together, limited colour palette.
