Plein Air: Wilverley Plain

We were a select group.

The weather forecast predicted clouds; it tactfully did not mention the icy breezes that threw our paintings into the mud or the rain showers.

There was a lot of mud and the puddles were turning into little interconnected ponds, much to the enjoyment of the local dogs and the children flying their kites.

Were we downhearted? Absolutely not! (Well, we made it to lunchtime, when we abandoned ship for the warmth of a cafe, hot chocolate and toasted teacakes.)
