Great RAS Plein Air Day

The weather didn’t quite come up to scratch for our plein air day - it was dull, chilly and grey but his did not deter those who gathered in the Market Square! It was mostly members with a few welcome new faces. We signed in and dispersed to all points off the compass for our chosen viewpoints.

Around half an hour into the session, the heavens opened and the rain poured down. This thinned our numbers a little but most persevered and at the end of the day, we lined up our work on the church wall and stood back to admire our efforts.. There was a lovely range of work from pencil to oils and the standard was very high.. There was a little judging (and agonising) and a winner was announced..

Well done, Dawn!

Well done everyone who made it through the cold and the rain to enjoy some sunshine at the end of the afternoon.! Thanks for supporting our event.
